Rather than sensing light like a standard camera, the Flir line of thermal imagers sense and display heat. They detect the tiny differences in the heat in front of them 24 hours a day, through smoke, in total darkness, and at ranges far beyond daylight or infrared illuminated cameras.

Unlike night vision cameras that require low amounts of light to generate an image, thermal cameras need no light at all. These cameras easily integrate into any existing CCTV system.

AVS-707: 1/2 inch CCD Analog Camera
